Powell River Christian School is an independent, B.C. accredited, non-denominational, co-ed, Christian school for students in Preschool through Grade 9. Founded in 1994, PRCS provides a high level of academics in an environment that integrates all aspects of our Christian faith.
PRCS provides this quality of education, while encouraging the unique gifts of each student. Together with family, through example and instruction we equip each student with knowledge, skills and understanding, challenging them to exercise discernment and stewardship in all aspects of life.
Powell River Christian School offers PreK through to Grade 9.
School hours are from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

We came from the public school system where school in general wasn’t working for our daughter. She was placed in a class of approximately 30. Among those were kids were those with extra needs, behavioral challenges and gifted abilities. We realized quickly that she would fall between the cracks if we didn’t search out another option.....
