Welcome to Powell River Christian School, located on the Sunshine Coast in beautiful British Columbia. School Calendar and Important Events 2009- 2010 Powell River Christian School is an independent, B.C. accredited, non- denominational, co-ed, Christian school for students in Preschool through Grade 9. Founded in 1994, PRCS provides a high level of academics in an environment that integrates all aspects of our Christian faith. PRCS provides this quality of education, while encouraging the unique gifts of each student. Together with family, through example and instruction we equip each student with knowledge, skills and understanding, challenging them to exercise discernment and stewardship in all aspects of life.
