We came from the public school system where school in general wasn’t working for our daughter. She was placed in a class of approximately 30. Among those were kids were those with extra needs, behavioral challenges and gifted abilities. We realized quickly that she would fall between the cracks if we didn’t search out another option.
I happened to come to PRCS to do a professional in-service for Miss Reginato’s class and instantly fell in love with the warmth of the room, the joy from the students and the welcomed feeling I experienced just being there.
Our daughter was accepted into PRCS a few weeks later, and she has begun her journey with a different kind of education system. We have noticed a remarkable difference in her attitude towards school and her learning, the way she views friendships and her ongoing exploration of her personal relationship with Christ.
We are not a charismatically Christian family, but the positive influence the school shines onto our daughter definitely spills over onto us at home. We speak more about virtues, especially grace and kindness!
The level of education is wonderful. She is in a class of 12, not 30 and receives extra support when she requires it from the patient and thoughtful help of wonderful teachers and teacher’s assistants. She is encouraged every step of the way and in turn, this encourages us. We have really appreciated the high levels of communication and the willingness of Mr. Duggan and Miss Reginato to take the time to address our concerns and meet our needs. This is the true spirit of what education and moral development should be, and we are very thankful.
